Well, maybe not ALL used, unwashed socks, but THESE 5 pairs of Denver Broncos player-worn, game-used socks from this past season sure did! This should serve to tell you something: there are people in this world who place value on things that others (perhaps the majority) would consider strange and worthless. Capitalize on that idea. If this kind of stuff can sell on eBay, surely there’s a marketplace for your stuff too! Just think about all that extra space you could reclaim at home or the office if you could just sell it off quickly and easily. The solution? Boxaroo it!

No kidding? (sorry, couldn’t help myself) Sure! Think about it: there’s a constant demand with new babies being born everyday and a constant supply with kids who grow out of their old toys and whose parents put them up for sale on eBay through Boxaroo! There’s also those kids who have grown-up bodies (referred to as ‘adults’ on contracts and drivers’ licenses) who absolutely love toys — Barney, Winnie the Pooh, Transformers, Star Wars action figures, Carebears and even more expensive toys like iPods, Wiis, SLR cameras, Macbook Air, Gucci handbags, Tiffany sparklies and Ferrari F430’s. Don’t be fooled… kids’ stuff will sell on eBay!
Here are some examples of “kids’ ” items we have currently listed and/or sold:

It’s true that some VHS tapes just won’t sell. I had a copy of ‘Meet the Parents’ that I could never sell - and this was back in the day when the movie was pretty new.
On the other hand, I remember getting over $13 for a used, ex-video store rental copy of ‘Ed Wood’.
I guess the moral of the story is that more ‘niche’ tapes sell - even as DVD and digital download movies take over.
You can see that with some of our current listings that have bids or that have sold.
‘The Robe’ for $.99
‘A Christmas Carol’ for $6.99
‘Wild World of Sports Bloopers’ for $5

A Boxaroo user put an old Quasar VHS VCR for sale on eBay today.

You might think that as we move to the second generation of DVD players that no one would want a VCR. Especially a broken one. But lo and behold! We’ve already got a bid. Granted, it’s only $.99. But it’s just proof that for just about anything there’s someone out there who could use it. We’ve already fielded a question about the item and it sounds like it will be part of some sort of fun electronics project.

I want to encourage you next time to list more than one item with Boxaroo.
Watching listings get bids and sell is just plain fun. It’s such a rush to see that price increase as the close of the auction approaches. One major perk John and I have is being able to watch all these listings of our Boxaroo customers rack up bids. Well, the more you list, the more fun you’ll have. And the more fun we have.
Sometimes to really make things fun I will list a few items each day. That way I get to spread out the eBay item selling entertainment over the course of a few days.
You’ll also find that for items in our catalog (books, DVDs, iPods, music) that you can really pile on a bunch of items in no time. Just enter in a UPC code or ISBN number and away you go!
Plus, the Boxaroo fulfillment system has been carefully designed to handle selling multiple items. We do some pretty space-age stuff to make it all work. See if we can’t handle a case where you might sell 100 comic books to the same person!
